"Kit Glaisyer re-imagines the Romantic Landscape genre by combining traditional oil painting techniques with an innovative contemporary sensibility. He creates immersive, panoramic paintings that engage the viewer in an intimate relationship with the natural environment, crafting emotive journeys through an evocative dreamscape where light, darkness and a transcendent experience of nature are embraced."
Widely respected, his work was ‘Highly Commended’ in the Marshwood Arts Awards 2015, he enjoyed a major retrospective exhibition of 45 paintings in “The Cinematic Landscape” at the Octagon Gallery, Bath in 2013 and was a finalist in the 2012 Portrait Prize at Bath’s Holburne Museum."
